The Department of History was Established in the Year 2014. It is a single faculty Department and the in-charge of the department is Smt.R.ANURADHA who joined in the year  3rd sep,2015 in the present college.

 

VISION

The History  of Department seeks to build its students transferable skills ,employability and intellectual curiosity, along with raising public awareness about the past and its legacies throughteaching research and service activitiesconducted locally  regionally , statewide and  nationally.

  The History Department prepares students for a wide range of careers by teaching a core set of transferable skills through the study of societies,cultures and economies across a broad chronological and geographical spectrum.
  *Enhance research oriented knowledge of the students and provide teaching      learning management system.
  *Inspire and encourage students towards pursuing the subject in post graduation and research level.
  *The History department values a skilled critically aware and informed citizenry.
  *An honest academic and public engagement with the past ,its meanings and its consequences for today.
