The Department of English was established in the year 2014. It is a single faculty department and the in-charge of the department is Smt. G. SESHU who joined in the year 16th November 2014 in the present college.


VISION

 

The Department of English aims to impart education of National standard and its objective is to prepare the students in the face upcoming challenges in Career Development.


MISSION

 

The Department of English aspires to:

    • Cater the needs of students coming from rural background in English subject.
    • Impart the subject through modern techniques and new methodologies of teaching.
    • Add and update the students with new and current areas of knowledge in the framework of curriculum.
    • Enhance Research oriented knowledge of the students and provide teaching in Learning Management System.
    • Inspire and encourage students to pursue English Language in Post-Graduation & Research level.
    • Explore and engage internships and linkages with other Academic, Government, and NGO institutions in order to provide exposure to the students.
    • Give confidence to the students towards self-employment skills and schemes.
    • Provide employability skills like Communicative English and create new avenues and opportunities in Jobs and Career.
    • Promote interaction with Alumni and Service Sectors in order to nurture humane values among the students.
